The Person

G’s are seeking an individual with board experience who has previously led large or complex change programmes.

The following experience and qualities are sought:

• Experience of steering business wide systems and change programmes.
• Strong relationship management skills, able to actively listen and achieve buy in with autonomous business unit directors.
• Skilled at chairing meetings, creating a culture of collaboration and constructive challenge, asking the right questions to achieve agreement and clarity of direction.
• Independent thinking and objectivity, offering independent advice and acting as a ‘critical friend’ to the project team and project Senior steering group/SGMB.
• Gravitas and seniority to gain respect and work as a peer to the project senior steering group/ SMGB.
• Experience of working within private and/ or family business would be helpful.

Remuneration will be a daily rate in the region of £800 to £1,000 per day for up to a 12-month period (one month notice to be given if contract is terminated earlier).
