Pure Executive are delighted to be working in partnership with G’s Group to support them in the search for a Senior Independent Consultant for up to 12 months to strategically support the UK business through a new HRIS implementation. Working closely with an appointed senior steering group (made up of G’s senior board members) along with the UKHRD and Interim HRIS Project Manager.
Founded in 1952 by Guy Shropshire, G’s is one of Europe’s leading family-owned, fully integrated fresh produce companies. Suppling quality salads and vegetables to major UK, European and North American retailers, the business is owned and operated by the second and third generations of the Shropshire family. The Barway site is the UK head office and where it all started with Finance, IT, HR, Commercial, Marketing, Technical, Production, Harvesting, logistics, dispatch and may more teams being based here.
Its farms are strategically located in the UK, Poland, Czech Republic and Spain enabling them to supply fresh produce throughout the summer months. During the winter, the bulk of production moves to its farms in Spain and Senegal. In 2016 they commissioned a beetroot factory for the Love Beets in Rochester, New York.
With annual revenues in excess of £550million G’s is a truly vertically integrated grower to marketing organisation. What sets them apart from others is that they manage the entire process from seed to shelf, via growing through to production and marketing.
